5th grade homework Sept 15th to 19th 2008

Monday - Write a story about an animal adventure using at least 10 vocabulary words we have used in class so far. Binder pages 15 and 16 have those words (as well as some we will talk about later). Underline the vocab words in your story. Please make sure your story explains each word. For example, instead of "Larry the lion was a carnivore." try "Larry the lion was a carnivore, so he loved nothing more than a meal of meat!"

Tuesday - Answer the following question based on the work you did for your "Smart Idea" computer food web.
Imagine if one of the organisms in your web suddenly all died off. How would the other organisms in your web be affected. Please explain in a 5 to 6 sentence paragraph.
